what do we do?

Our vision is a world where all children, especially girls have access to education. We are currently operation in Uganda where scarcity of resources and biased gender roles prevent many girls from enrolling in and completing primary school. As a result, in some communities, the number of girls completing primary school (7 years) is less than 25% of the numbers at enrolment. Given such a high dropout rate (hovering at around 75%), coupled with cultural norms and practices which undermine gender equality, and are exacerbated by poverty, there is massive opportunity for Education in Action Society to have a lasting positive impact on the nation. We look at our work as a commitment to the long term development of the nation, using the resources we have at hand, to assist the underprivileged.
